We currently have an opening for Service Manager at our Port Perry Dealership

The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing our Service Department. The Service Manager is an experienced leader who understands the importance of strong relationships with service, sales and our customers.  

What you will need:

  • Strong managerial, financial, analysis and human relations skills developed from many years experience in managerial/supervisory position in a business environment related to the mechanical agribusiness fields
  • Formal training in business related topics
  • An understanding of the mechanical environment, farming and agribusiness.
  • Prior experience as an agricultural technician is a strong asset

What you will do:

  • Provide direction and support for all service department staff
  • Daily communication with customers: Technical, Financial
  • Maintain professional and positive atmosphere in all aspects of the dealership
  • Perform farm visits as required
  • Work with financials relating to customer accounts and internal expenses
  • Responsible for closing of all work orders (Internal and External)
  • In charge of all training programs for technicians as well as maintaining Service Writer/Warranty compliance for all partnered companies
  • Maintain good standing with all partnered companies
  • Work with parts department to create a successful schedule of parts for the shop
  • Work with sales to ensure new and used units are completed as indicated as well as in a timely fashion
  • Run service specials for seasonal opportunities
  • Other dealership duties as needed
  • Validate shipping and customs charges
  • Vendor & Visa statement reconciliation
  • Follow up on missing invoices and approvals.
