- Strong rear main beater side panels are
slanted for clearance and wider spread,
and then welded to the strong 5″ U-channel
side members.
- The side flares on all H&S heavy-duty
manure spreaders are made of 10-gauge
g210 culvert grade galvanized steel.
- The hydraulic endgate features 2 cylinders with hydraulic lines running through a 3″ x 3″ tube under the floor for protection. The upright position of the hydraulic cylinder stroke allows the gate to lift with the least strain at pivot points.
- A front splash guard is standard equipment.

HEAVY WELDED FRAME
The heavy-duty series of H&S manure spreaders feature a massive unitized welded frame with heavy floor supports, side stakes, and wrap-around steel front corners.

GEARBOX
Gearbox mechanisms and 2-speed drive for the beater and tapered roller apron are bearing equipped.
The beater drive gearbox is 1:1.5 bevel gear oil bath equipped with a 4-jaw overrunning clutch for beater shut-off.
The apron drive is a 50:1 bronze worm gear with shear bolt protection.

EASY CLEAN-UP
Sides, front panel and both sides of the rear hydraulic end gate use fiberglass reinforced plywood to provide for easy cleaning and minimal freeze-up.
Solid virgin grade poly floor allows for considerably less torque to move a heavy load.

- The 29″ diameter beater has two styles of replaceable beater paddles. Half of the 14 beater paddles are blunt for widespread, and the other half are a sharp ripper-type for cutting and shredding. Beater side wiper blades are also standard equipment.
- Special cast steel alloy apron idler slides are used instead of idler sprockets, making for years of dependable service.
- Adjustment for the main apron is easily made by simply loosening the two side bolts and drawing up the long bolt.
