The 9620 is capable of applying up to 110 acres per hour and the 72-ft boom is engineered with hydraulic suspension to ensure boom stability for accurate application at high speeds. With a 660 cubic foot capacity, the 9620 is designed to reduce fill stops and the heavy duty 20-ton walking beam suspension carries the load with confidence. |
RUGGED BOOM DESIGN The Valmar 9620 features hydraulic fold 72-foot booms. Built with high-quality 304 stainless steel, the 9620 booms are able to withstand the abrasive nature of granular fertilizer application. Equipped with hydraulic boom suspension using an accumulator to reduce friction, bouncing, and wear of the booms while operating at higher speeds. Hydraulic folding, 7-foot break-away boom tips are also implemented on the 9620 to minimize damage that may occur from striking obstacles in the field. A Fasse boom control handle comes standard with the 9620 which controls independent RH and LH boom fold and boom height. |
ACCURATE METERING OPTIONS The Valmar 9620 uses a hydraulicly driven metering system which runs independent LH/RH 16” 304 stainless steel mesh conveyors. This system allows for two-section control and can be automated to allow for automatic section control and variable rate application using ISOBUS control and prescription mapping through a third-party rate controller. The 9620 also has the option to add a second metering system with a 60 cu.ft. micro hopper. This secondary metering system implements a 28-groove roller allowing for precise application of fine granular herbicide, seed, or micronutrients at the same as you apply fertilizer. |
HIGHEST CAPACITY AIR BOOM HOPPER The 9620 features a 20-ton, 660 cu.ft. capacity hopper which is the highest capacity in its class. The main hopper capacity is 600 cu.ft. and features a partition and flip gate with a 60 cu.ft. micro hopper which allows for optional secondary metering. Higher capacity hoppers allow for you to cover more acres with less downtime for fill ups. The hopper itself is constructed of corrosion-resistant, painted 409 stainless steel and comes with an electric roll tarp and hopper screens installed. |
DURABLE CHASSIS DESIGN The 9620 comes standard with a 20-ton walking beam undercarriage on four 800/65R32 flotation tires with fenders. This keeps the unit stable while operating in the field and supports the full weight of the granular product, distributing it evenly on four tires to reduce the effects of compaction. |
